On August 22, 23 and 24, 1997 at Pleasanton Fairgrounds, Pleasanton, CA, The San Francisco Chronicle presented the GOODGUYS 11th WEST COAST ROD AND CUSTOM NATIONALS. Billed as "the Nation's Largest," with "Over 3,500 Rods Customs and Classic Cars through 1954.
At approximately 11" x 18", this poster is pristine, no dings, dirt, tears or holes. In full color, the poster features some shots of admirers with a few classic cars on the top, at the bottom is a glossary of sorts, entitled "How to Speak Street Rod." The lower portion attempts to cover the basic terms, with brief definitions. Perfect for the car enthusiast, this piece should probably be framed to preserve it for posterity because of its condition.
