Offered is a poster for a dance performance called THE FLOATING GROUND by PROJECT BANDALOOP at the Cowell Theater in San Francisco's Fort Mason Center. A black and white image of two dancers, male and female, in mid dance is used, along with red text announcing the piece and dancetroop. The other text (theater, date, etc.) are white. Printed on heavier weight, glossy stock, 16 3/4" x 11 1/8".

The dates listed are July 14-15 (not sure the year, though undoubtedly in the 1990s) at 8 PM; tickets were $12.50 in advance, $14.50 at the door. The performance also featured a special guest appearance by THE SCOTT WELLS DANCE COMPANY in an excerpt from "FLIGHT PATTERNS." Conceived and choregraphed by Project Bandaloop's Amelia Rudolph with music by Scott Huckabay & Elyzabeth Mead; performers included Carrie Abresh, Heather Baer, Chris Clay, Karen Elliot, Peter Mayfield, Brian Oliver, Amelia Rudolph, Kim Sargent and Sean Seward. This image is credited to John Mireles.

The poster was obviously used, likely hung up on a telephone pole here in San Francisco. I see evidence of 4 staples (holes), and it appears that it was probably rolled and crushed a little. The combination of the kind of paper and color leaves a little noticeable damage. It is probably something that could be corrected by a paper conservator, though I would probably leave it as is. Please look at the image for further information regarding condition, and feel free to ask for details if you are concerned.

Thanks for considering this poster!
