Offered is a copy of BERKELEY WOMEN'S MUSIC COLLECTIVE's self-titled 1976 Windbag Records release. A rare album by members of Berkeley's radical '70s women's movement, a small pressing on Windbag Records, with distribution by Olivia Records. From the liner notes:
'We are lesbians who came together to give form to our thoughts, feelings and visions as women struggling to overthrow our oppression, and to support the struggles of other oppressed peoples...'
Songs include:
The Bloods
Take the Time
Fury
"No Thanks Mister"
We're Hip
and
San Francisco Bank Song
Janet's Song
Mercy Me
Gay and Proud
Personnel include Debbie Lempke on lead vocals, Nancy Vogl on lead and rhythm guitar and vocals, Susann Shanbaum on bass and vocals, and Nancy Henderson on piano and vocals. Drum credits are given to Jake, and Nikki Sachs is given credit for flute. A folk combo.

I would give the disc a Very Good + rating, with light scratches/scuffs, most of which probably won't affect listening. The disc could use a good cleaning, and is not perfect. The inner sleeve is probably not original, and the outer sleeve is still in shrink wrap. The spine edge has a 4-5" split, which seems more ragged than most splits...more of a worn spot, perhaps caused when exposed to some moving parts. There is a little grime and wear along the opening edge.

Let me know if you have any questions, and thanks for considering this album!
