Offered is a copy of Paul Winter/Winter Consort's landmark album ICARUS. Featuring a gatefold sleeve, and back cover artwork showing the endangered California Condor (one of forty known at the time). The Consort, at the time, consisted of Paul Winter on Soprano Sax and Vocals, David Darling on Cello and Vocals, Paul McCandless on Oboe, English Horn, Contrabass, Sarrasophone and Vocals, Ralph Towner on classical, 12 String and Steel String Guitars, Piano, Regal Bush Organ and Vocals, Herb Bushler on Fender Bass, ans Collin Walcott on a variety of Drums, Bass Marimba and Sitar. Among guests on the album are Billy Cobham and Paul Stookey. Songs are:
Icarus
Ode to a Rillmore Dressing Room
The Silence of a Candle
Sunwheel
Juniper Bear
and
Whole Earth Chant
All the Mornings Bring
Chehalis and Other Voices
Minuit

The disc itself is in Excellent condition, with a minimum of very light scratches-nothing that should interfere significantly in listening. It could use a good cleaning. The inner sleeve has a tear. The outer sleeve I would give a VG rating by Goldmine standards; small amount of staining at the front/top, ring wear on the back, scratches, a couple of light bends, bumped corners - generally shelf wear. No splits, mostly a sound cover.

Let me know if you have any questions, and thanks for considering this LP!
