For sale is a Library Edition of a book containing adaptations of 2 classics: THE DEERSLAYER by James Fenimore Cooper and DAVID COPPERFIELD by Charles Dickens. Published by J J Little & Ives; illustrated, approximately 5 3/4" x 8 1/2" and 384 pages with paper covered boards featuring a pattern of fleur-de-lys, and a red Moroccan spine with gilt text and decorations, end papers are also decorated with fleur-de-lys.
The book is in good condition, with some wear along the edges (especially the top of the spine), minor discoloration along the edges of the cover, and the gilt on the spine is tarnished. There is some foxing at the top of the pages (see provided photo). The binding is still very tight, the pages clean. A great reader's copy.
