Blue cloth covers the boards and spine, embossed on the front and spine, text on the spine is gilt. Approximately 6 3/8" x 9 7/16" with 626 pages, indexed and with a section on ordering other Junior League books directly from the individual chapters. This is a book compiled from lots of other Junior League recipe books and contain recipes for Beef Bourguignonne, Nashville Roast Wild Duck, Bread Pudding with Whiskey Sauce, Potato Ice Box Rolls, Baked Crabmeat au Gratin, Louisiana Red Beans and Rice, and Plantation Pecan Torte.
This book is in very good condition, with sharp corners, clean pages and a tight binding. There is a little light fading along the upper edge, and a little at the lower spine. The dust cover, too, is in good condition, though it has a clipped corner and a little discoloration along the edges, which can only be seen on the inside. The dust cover has tiny tears here and there, a couple of minor creases.
